How many of us keep the commandments of God? How many follow the Ten Commandments? If you fail even one commandment, you fail the entire law. Many compromise and encourage themselves that the Lord is merciful and will forgive. Each time we disobey and fail to keep His laws, our relationship with the Lord deteriorates. When guilty feelings increase, the soul is likely to search for comfort in the world, find like-minded people, and go astray. Stay on the path. Do not compromise. Do not turn aside. Keep walking with the Lord. God’s way leads toward life rather than destruction.
“For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. For he who said, ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ also said, ‘You shall not murder.’ If you do not commit adultery but you commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker” (James 2:10,11).
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” ( Psalms 119:105).
