“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey” (Zechariah 9:9).
My Children, the world remembers and celebrates the triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
I was so bold and courageous. I know what was ahead. Yet, I kept My peace. In strength I am the strongest, in courage I am the most courageous, in wisdom I am the wisest, in knowledge I am the Omniscient, in might and power I am the Omnipotent.
Those who were with Me did not realize that. They realized it later. They wanted me to rule over them, they wanted Me to feed them, but I came not only to rule and feed, but also to save them from the eternal torment. I came here to save the mankind and sacrificed Myself for My children.
I allowed it so as to change the law which the Jews were following and torturing My children. Yes, My children were tortured. They were tortured in Egypt and they were also tortured in Israel. I came to save them all from the terrible torment.
Yes, I am the Law Giver. I gave the law. The law was used to judge My children without mercy. I the Law Giver submitted Myself for this humiliation to save My children who were undergoing much of humiliation. Yes, I am the Saviour and beside Me there is none.
I love you My children. I came to save this world. My children I am in you. I am in your home. I have protected you. I am your Shield and Strength. I have given you My peace. I am the Victorious King and you are My children.
Be of good courage, be bold. Do all the things that I want you to do. Do not look back. Go forth and do My will. I will never forsake you for I am your Father and you are Mine. I have given you the Power and the Authority to win over the Satan and its forces. Focus on Me and I will do everything for you.
My Children, I will bless you abundantly: for I care for you. You will not lack anything. You have trusted Me. I trust you. I know you will raise My Kingdom. Be of good cheer.
The Son of God became the Son of man so that the sons of man would become the sons of God.
The Lord Jesus Christ, being God Almighty, was so humble that He did not regard equality with God, but came as the Son of God and addressed Himself as the Son of Man.
He was fully divine and fully human in one person. He had all the feelings and attributes of human.
“For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously ; Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed” (Peter 2:21-24).
Come what may, those who trust in the Lord will never be confounded.
An insult to you is an insult to the Holy Spirit in you; an insult to you is an insult to the King of kings whom you trust. Be of good courage.
The Lord Almighty is seated on a magnificent throne. He has created all these things for His glory; will He not do this little thing for which you have prayed? He hears the faintest cry.
The answer is at your door. Have faith and keep thanking Him. He will never take His eyes off you. Just keep thanking the Lord without getting distracted, and expect the move of the Lord.
Our Lord hears, He answers, and He comforts. He is a good God. You are perplexed, troubled and confused. Let not your heart be troubled. He was silent because He wants you to trust Him and Him alone.
Honour your father and mother. Take care of them when they are aged. They have sacrificed a lot in raising you. If you take care of them, your children will care for you when you are aged. It is the divine responsibility of every parent to care for their children, and for children to care for their parents when they are aged.
Remember the countless hours your dad worked hard to bring you gifts, the hands that fed and embraced you—but now he has become a stranger to you.
Your mum has done everything for you: she dressed you, cooked food for you, packed your lunch, and fasted and prayed for you. But now, she is an alien to you.
Once you began earning a little money, you felt on top of the world and started hurting and abusing your loving parents. You then left home, leaving them in tears.
If you cannot love your parents who are in front of you, how will you love the Father whom you have not seen?
God will judge you.
“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind” (Matthew 22:37).
Many people leave their parents in an old age home. Will God not judge such a cruel and unloving heart?
Love your parents, and take care of all their needs in their old age. Remember all that they have done for you. Speak to them, dine with them, care for them, and love them. If you hurt and mistreat your aged parents, tomorrow, your children will do the same to you. Do not hurt them with your words or gestures; they need your love. Express your love to them today; tomorrow, you might regret it, for life is like a vapor.
